A Sure Sign of Summer

The ice cream truck has been driving down our street on a very regular basis. Kate gets so excited when she hears the music but unfortunately he always passes our house right during the middle of dinner. The worst part for Kate is that we sit in our dining room for dinner and we have a big window that looks right out onto the street so she has to watch him pass by night after night. Well, last night her luck changed! We hadn't sat down to eat yet and so Kate and daddy frantically ran down the street, chasing his truck to stop him (with me bringing up the rear with the money!). She was so excited to finish up with dinner and enjoy her Bomb Pop and even though Maggie had no idea what she was in store for, she loved her popsicle too! Summer is obviously right around the corner!

A Face Only a Mommy Could Love

Maggie enjoyed her Senor Tequila dinner which mostly consisted of the cheese dip that she scraped completely dry. Needless to say, she didn't make a peep at dinner!

Spring Has Sprung (finally!)

We love to see the tulips come up at Woodward and just have to get some pictures taken with them each year...happy spring!

Sweet and Sassy

Each time we go visit Mimi and PopPop, the girls' special treat is to get a service at Sweet and Sassy. Maggie needed another haircut and Kate opted for a pedicure.

Maggie didn't fuss a bit this time and even let Miss Sam blow dry and curl her hair and Kate loved having her legs rubbed, which she said "tickled" and she chose blue for her polish. They were all gussied up and ready for Easter!

She doesn't look it, but she loved her sparkly
hair and fancy curls!
